Registrations are now open for the CCHN Specialized Session on the interface between humanitarian negotiation and risk management in field operations in Dubai from 19-20 September 2019. The session responds to growing interest from the humanitarian community in the prevention and mitigation of operational risks through the development of negotiation capabilities.
Over the coming weeks, the CCHN will further host a Specialized Session on negotiating humanitarian access in Yemen as well as Peer Workshops in Bogota, Dakar, Kinshasa and Dubai. More than 250 field practitioners already joined the Peer Workshop Program in 2019.
In a series of community stories, we asked frontline negotiators about the key skills and competencies needed in their profession.
