The Centre of Competence on Humanitarian Negotiation is co-organising an international academic Conference on Migration with Harvard University and the Social Sciences Research Center of the International Burch University in Sarajevo (Bosnia-Herzegovina), co-sponsored by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).

This conference is designed to combine academic and policy aspects of the debate on migration—in Bosnia-Herzegovina, the region, and internationally—to address migration-related challenges.

Originally scheduled for 20 January, the International Conference on Migration was moved to 5 April 2022. The Conference will take place both online and in-person in Sarajevo.

Participate in the Conference on Migration

Call for Papers

Contribute to the Conference on Migration by submitting an abstract. All scholars – especially young scholars and those from marginalized communities – are invited to submit their papers on the topic of migrations and migration management. The conference will address the topic of migrations in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Balkans, and wider, including the work of frontline organizations, and emigration and internal migrations.
