The CCHN is organising a 3-day Advanced Humanitarian Negotiation Workshop for humanitarian staff working in the Middle East and North Africa. This onsite Advanced Negotiation Workshop aims to develop the capacity of CCHN community members in planning and conducting negotiations in humanitarian contexts in the region. It will introduce advanced methods and tools to participants, based on the latest CCHN research.
This workshop is only open to CCHN Community Members who have previously attended a CCHN Peer Workshop. If you have not yet completed a Peer Workshop, you can register to one of our upcoming events here. Specifically for MENA, two free online workshops (Arabic and English) in April are open for registration here-for En, and here-for AR.
What are the selection requirements?Â

- The workshop is open to both national and international staff of humanitarian organisations and is entirely free of charge.
Objectives of the Advanced Workshop:

- To apply and practice negotiations based on context specific scenarios.
Main topics:
Â
-
- Designing and understanding the mandate of the negotiation

The workshop is highly interactive: we invite participants to share their own experiences, discuss, join simulation exercises and learn from each other’s expertise. This event is organised by the Centre of Competence on Humanitarian Negotiation, a joint initiative of four humanitarian agencies (ICRC, MSF, UNHCR and WFP).
The event coordinator will inform you of the exact location of the event once your participation is confirmed.
