This Onsite Applied Negotiation Workshop aims to develop the capacity of CCHN community members in planning and conducting negotiations in humanitarian contexts in the Asia region. It will introduce advanced methods and tools to participants, based on the latest CCHN research. If you have not yet completed a Peer workshop, please refer to the Onsite Peer Workshop on Humanitarian Negotiation – Asia Protection | Bangkok.
Based on case studies based on current humanitarian practice in 2022, the Advanced Humanitarian Negotiation Workshop focuses on the main challenges and dilemmas faced by frontline humanitarians who work in protection settings in Asia.
Specifically, the workshop will tackle subjects such as:
- Normative negotiations
- Classical vs. Resilience in protection negotiations
- Negotiating access for protection activities

The workshop is highly interactive: we invite participants to share their own experiences, discuss, join simulation exercises and learn from each other’s expertise.
