WHAT WILL I LEARN?

We structure the workshop’s program around the content of theCCHN Field Manual on Frontline Humanitarian Negotiation. By the end of the workshop, you will have learned:

  1. Pressure management methods, tools, and theory,
  2. To prepare yourself before pressure,
  3. To react to pressure in the best possible way,
  4. To recover from the pressure.

The methodology includes some very practical exercises for self-management: physical movements, breathing techniques, and relaxation.

We also look at some aspects of communication and trust building under pressure and with difficult counterparts.
