Event Details

Join us for three community meetings focused on the current challenges facing humanitarian negotiations and diplomacy.

In a challenging era where humanitarian efforts face increasing pressure from budget cuts and external attacks on humanitarianism, this series of events offers a vital opportunity for practitioners to connect, share experiences, and discuss the current issues and opportunities impacting on-the-ground negotiations and diplomatic initiatives.

If you’ve attended a CCHN negotiation workshop before, this is your chance to collaborate with fellow negotiators, exchange field-based challenges, and explore how the CCHN community can respond to today’s humanitarian landscape.

We will explore the following questions:

  • What do you consider the issues and opportunities specifically affecting humanitarian negotiation and humanitarian diplomacy at this time?
  • How can the CCHN community of practice respond?
