Event Details

Join us for this engaging online session designed exclusively for our community members in Europe. The Coffee for Europe is an informal yet focused platform to discuss our shared humanitarian negotiation priorities, exchange ideas, and collaboratively shape the way forward.

This edition will feature a timely discussion on the impact of USAID funding cuts on humanitarian work, exploring how potential restructuring and reductions in aid may affect humanitarian negotiations, access, and operations worldwide. Together, we will:

  • Examine the potential impact of USAID’s situation on humanitarian operations, including emergency response, protection efforts, and access negotiations.
  •  Discuss shifting donor priorities and the implications for organizations in Europe relying on USAID funding.
  •  Consider together the challenges ahead and strategies for humanitarian actors as funding landscapes shift and aid budgets shrink.
  •  Share field experiences on how similar funding disruptions have affected operations in the past.
