All participants can attend the Contributor Sessions at the CCHN World Summit.

An overview of the situation of the different current humanitarian crisis in Latin America:
• Armed conflict in Colombia;
• The crisis created by socio-political issues (and presence of armed actors) in Venezuela;
• Migrants/refugees from Venezuela are arriving in other countries in Latin America;
• Violence and migration in Central America (Honduras, Salvador, Guatemala);
• Violence and internal displacement in Mexico;
• Other contexts (Haiti).

The need to understand issues around International Humanitarian Law and humanitarian principles or the “do not harm” approach and, at the same time, human rights and public policies. To do it, Universities and training centres must include this training in their curricula.
