EXPERT SESSION SERIES

This expert session is part of a series focused on negotiating with state and non-state military counterparts.

The series was born out of the CCHN’s community interest in what it means to negotiate with arms carriers.

For humanitarians, these negotiations can often be intimidating because they fail to understand how state and non-state military counterparts are organised, and how they function and perceive humanitarians.

This series brings together experts with a military background and humanitarian practitioners to reflect on their experiences and successful practices in such negotiations.
