Event Details

Are you a good negotiator? Join our simulation session and test your humanitarian negotiation skills!

We will brief you about a fictional conflict situation and several negotiation processes that are to take place. You may play the role of a field officer, a humanitarian manager, a member of the armed group or again of the local community.

You will move around a virtual space created on digital platform WonderMe and interact with the other actors to achieve your goals. And don’t worry about getting stuck in a deadlock – our facilitators will be there to support you along the way.

The simulation will be held online, in English.

This event is organised by the Center of Competence on Humanitarian Negotiation, a joint initiative of five humanitarian agencies (ICRC, MSF, UNHCR, WFP and HD Centre). It is part of the Annual Humanitarian Networks and Partnerships Weeks (HNPW) set up by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA)
