CCHN Soft Skills Workshop – Geneva Edition

Strengthen Your Negotiation Edge through Practical Simulations and Emotional Intelligence Training

This redesigned Soft Skills Workshop is tailored for CCHN Community Members who are ready to take their negotiation skills to the next level through experiential learning. Be among the first to explore this highly interactive, simulation-based format — built to deepen your emotional intelligence, challenge your reflexes, and refine your soft skills in high-pressure negotiation settings.

Over the course of two full days, you’ll be immersed in realistic, high-pressure scenarios inspired by field challenges. Engage with diverse actors, navigate difficult conversations, and sharpen your self-awareness and emotional regulation — in a safe and supportive environment.

Who Can Participate?

This workshop is only open to CCHN Community Members who have previously attended a CCHN Peer Workshop.

The event is open to both national and international humanitarian professionals regularly engaged in complex negotiation processes, such as protection, community-based, or adversarial negotiations.


🧠 What to Expect:

A highly interactive, simulation-based experience where participants will:

  • Explore emotional intelligence and negotiation psychology

  • Practice active listening, non-verbal communication, and breathwork

  • Adapt communication strategies to real-world humanitarian contexts

  • Reflect on personal and team negotiation dynamics

  • Apply soft skills in peer-to-peer simulations and guided debriefs


🎓 Certification:

Participants who attend both full days will receive a CCHN Certificate of Completion.
