Our Advanced Professional Certificate is designed in collaboration with our Scientific Collaboration partner institutions, experts and operational partners in order to foster the creation of an informal space for professional learning and exchange on multidimensional impacts of emerging issues that impacted vulnerable populations and to develop operational and policy approaches across agencies and contexts.

1. Bringing together experts, crisis management professionals, and frontline negotiators to discuss the economic, social, epidemiological, and humanitarian implications of the pandemic in a specific region, as the ongoing challenges of balancing humanitarian imperatives with security, social, and economic considerations.
2. Examining the requirements for the elaboration of response plans to guide policy making in the course of the emerging issues, address the need for co-designing such responses with key stakeholders, and enlarge the scope of intervention to tackle some of the most severe consequences.

Our Advanced Professional Certificate is designed to serve our Community of Practice who have already completed a Peer Workshop on Humanitarian Negotiation and are familiar with the standard CCHN tools and methods from the Field Manual. The Advanced Professional Certificate is generally for middle to senior managers working on a humanitarian response with a minimum of 5 – 7 years of relevant experience.

As space is limited, we will select participants on the basis of information provided in a designated application.

Participants are expected to commit to completing the full course onsite in a designated location, or alternatively online, depending on the selected method of participation.

It is free of charge to the selected participants.

Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion delivered by CCHN and our Scientific Collaboration partners. Please check our FAQs pages for more information about certification.

Those who have completed an Advanced Professional Certificate are able to access Specialized Advanced Sessions that will use specific CCHN tools and methods to provide a more in-depth perspective into negotiation within thematic areas of interest or geographic-specific issues.

Upon the completion, the participants will be selected and invited as our Think Tanks members, which covers Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America and Middle East region.
