The ICRC Delegation in Paris interviewed CCHN Director Claude Bruderlein. The interview took place in the wake of the two-day conference “Syria: 7 years of humanitarian negotiations in Syria” organized by SciencesPo Paris, the ICRC Delegation in Paris and the CCHN.
The interview, which was conducted in French, gives a snapshot of the CCHN’s approach to documenting and analyzing lessons learned in frontline negotiations. Claude Bruderlein also explains how this work contributes to improving humanitarian access in armed conflict zones and the security of humanitarian workers in the field.
