Event Details

In an effort to enhance professional exchange and peer learning among frontline humanitarian negotiators, the Centre of Humanitarian Negotiation in partnership with the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative is organizing a Specialized Advanced Session for negotiating access for COVID-19 vaccination in conflict settings.

Held during the CCHN World Summit, this Specialized Advanced Session is designed to serve members of our community members who have already completed the Advanced Professional Certificate and who expect to intersect with the global efforts for COVID-19 vaccination in their humanitarian work, specifically in conflict settings. This Specialized Advanced Session will focus on providing practical tools and methods to engage proactively on the unique challenges and dilemmas on negotiating in conflict settings for Covid-19 vaccination.

The Specialized Advanced Session will also serve to onboard participants into the dedicated digital Access Protocol and Exchange Platform (APEP). The APEP platform consists of a series of briefing, planning and meeting tools designed for frontline negotiators engaged in vaccination programs in conflict settings, facilitating the exchange of negotiation practices across contexts and regions in real-time. Developed in consultation with field practitioners, all of them are our community members, this closed platform will serve as a go-to source of information and expertise for all those engaged in access negotiation across conflict environments.

👉 Applications for the Specialized Advanced Session must be submitted via the CCHN World Summit application form.
⚠️ This event is only for members of our Community of Practice who have completed a Peer Workshop and an Advanced Professional Certificate.
